On Friday, LCPS hosted the Energy Expo and Career Symposium at NMSU. It was a day of thriving activity as over 3,000 students learned about opportunities in the drone and energy industry, including careers in agriculture, economics, solar, wind & more!

This past Saturday, our talented Camino Real Mock Trial team competed at the New Mexico Middle School Mock Trial Competition in Albuquerque, showcasing their skills and professionalism among 27 teams from across the state.
A huge congratulations to all our competitors for their stellar performances!
A special shout-out to our Defense Team, who stole the spotlight with their outstanding preparation, collaboration, and courtroom presence. We’re incredibly proud of:

If you love BBQ, you won’t want to miss the Grill and Thrill BBQ Competition happening at the Field of Dreams Baseball Complex at 4pm.
The event brings together all of our high schools for a team competition to see who can take home bragging rights for the best BBQ!
The event is free to the public, so come out and bring your family and friends to sample some of the most flavorful BBQ in the Southwest! We’ll see you there!

Thank you to the LCPS Bilingual Community Outreach team for decorating an ofrenda for Día de Los Muertos. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects in remembrance of friends and family members who have passed on.
